Areas of Interest

Professor Satyavolu’s areas of interest include wireless and mobile networks; RFID anti-collision protocols, and delay tolerant networks and software defined networks. Her doctoral research centered on wireless and mobile networks, specifically, building frameworks for improving radio-frequency identification (RFID) protocol efficiencies.

Before joining the Notre Dame faculty, she served on the faculty at California State University at Monterey Bay and Oklahoma City University.  She worked briefly for Institutional Shareholder Services at Norman, Oklahoma, before starting her career in academia.
